Mixed Doubles Results – Sept 7th

We had 15 Teams participate last Saturday, with 8 teams for the higher level, and 7 teams for the lower level of play. We also had many spectators come and watch the event which was appreciated too!

Both levels of play enjoyed round robin play against all the other teams, and then all played a single elimination tournament. Team seeding for the tournament was based on win/losses during the round robin play.

Thanks and appreciation to the PICKLR!

The PICKLR in Loveland donated items for winners of the Club’s three Doubles events this year. The PICKLR donated to the Club 3 Vulcan pickleball paddles, 24 Vulcan pickleballs, a dozen each of these items: Picklr towels, Picklr paddle bands, Picklr edge protectors, and KT tape.

Snow Removal Volunteers

Volunteers clear snow from the Berthoud Town Park pickleball courts so we can play in the winter months. This requires use of a “non-metal snow shovel” for the removal. When we shovel the snow from the courts, please don’t push the snow to the West fence because the snow pile will melt and put water (or ice) on the courts for a long period of days. Which will make it difficult when we want to play with wet courts. Please push or shovel the snow to the North, East, and South fence. NOTE: We must not force the removal of ice even with plastic shovels, as that can damage the court surface coating.
