Berthoud Pickleball Club hosted a “Doubles Event” on October 15th. We had 8 mixed doubles teams register, and 4 women’s doubles teams. We did not have enough men registered to have a men’s category. We had a beautiful day of weather, and have just a few photos to share.
We structured play to determine a winner for each category. The mixed doubles were put into two groups of four. Then after round robin play within the two groups, the best two teams from both groups played to determine the winner. While the other four teams played each other. The women’s doubles played two round robins, and the team with the most wins was the winner.

We displayed our new banner, and thanks to Cathi Scott for creating our club logo. The club can share the “logo files” if you want to use them to have shirts or caps done. Thanks to Dave Babcock for making 3 wood travel trophies for our events.
Members enjoyed visiting when they were not playing, and watching the Pickleball play too. The focus of the event was for everyone to enjoy playing Pickleball, have fun, and meet other members.
