Snow Removal Volunteers

Volunteers clear snow from the Berthoud Town Park pickleball courts so we can play in the winter months. This requires use of a “non-metal snow shovel” for the removal. When we shovel the snow from the courts, please don’t push the snow to the West fence because the snow pile will melt and put water (or ice) on the courts for a long period of days. Which will make it difficult when we want to play with wet courts. Please push or shovel the snow to the North, East, and South fence. NOTE: We must not force the removal of ice even with plastic shovels, as that can damage the court surface coating.
